Only 1 out of 100 human trafficking victims ever escape. There are more slaves today than at any time in earth’s history. 50 million people are victims of human trafficking globally. This is an underground crime
that needs to be brought to the light of day. On October 4, Tom Evans from Seventh-day Adventist organization, Child Impact International, will be sharing how you can help shine a light and be part of the solution.
Meet our Speaker
Dr. Tom L. Evans has served as CEO of Child Impact International since 2021. Tom and his wife Mara (originally from Brazil) have pursued a lifelong calling to positively impact the lives of children. They have been
involved in child sponsorship, hosting exchange students, mission trips, respite care, orphan hosting, and adopted two boys from Latvia (near the Russia border), and two girls from Bulgaria. Tom and Mara believe they are placed on earth to make a difference and feel compelled to save one more!
Operation Child Rescue
Child Impact has been sponsoring children to attend Adventist mission schools around the world since 1966. Beginning 10 years ago, Child Impact joined the fight against human trafficking with an initiative called Operation Child Rescue. Today you have the opportunity to become part of the Rescue Party by becoming a monthly donor! Together we can shine a light in dark places and bring hope to children in desperate need.

Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. But pity anyone who falls and has no one to help them up.
